How To Tell What Usb Speed Or Version I Have And Bluetooth

I pick up cheap used computer but have no idea if it is USB 2.0 or USB 3.0

The front ports may be USB 2.0 and back ports may be USB 3.0 I have no idea

It has DVD drive no idea if it is writer or not.

Also no idea if this computer has Bluetooth or not.

Also no idea what the wireless speed is.

Grab a flashlight and look at the markings at the USB ports.

To determine whether your PC has Bluetooth hardware, check the Device Manager for Bluetooth Radio by following the steps:

a. Drag the mouse to bottom left corner and right-click on the ‘Start icon’.
b. Select ‘Device manager’.
c. Check for Bluetooth Radio in it or you can also find in Network adapters.

While this works much of the time, sadly, the industry standard does not make color coding mandatory. While I have never seen blue connectors for other USB versions, I have seen black used for all types - including 3.x. So plodr's labeling suggestion and/or Speccy or HWiNFO64 may be the only option - besides researching the specs for the model number of that computer.

Yes, I didn't mention blue versus black because not all USB 3 ports are blue.
