Sufficient Video Hardware For Blu-ray Writer?

The system requirements for the Asus BW-16D1HT Blu-Ray writer say
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600GT or ATI X1600 series or above Use HDCP Compatible display and VGA card to High Definition digital output

I am confused as to exactly what that is saying.
I am not sure I would meet that requirement. My graphics hardware is integrated onto the chipset of my motherboard, I believe.
When I go to device manager, I can see that this is the chipset that I have

I see that the GeForce card that the blu-ray manufacturer mentions on their page is a 256MB video card. Source:

I'd guess that my onboard video is 128MB or 256MB.
I also have the owner's manual for the motherboard that's in my computer as a PDF (Asus Leonite P5LP-LE). However, that does not seem to give any more information about the video hardware.

 

I doubt the PC will cope with displaying Blue-ray videos.
The motherboard uses DDR2 RAM.
What OS are you using?

 

Windows 8.1. However, the computer originally shipped with Vista.
Do you think I will be able to write data to blu-ray discs?

 

It's difficult to give you a definitive answer.
The motherboard is ±10 years old. The CPU, RAM, chipsets, disk controllers, etc. have limitations.

 

Understandable. It's not like the manufacturers make a list of all hardware that's compatible or not compatible.
