Can any one help me with a video issue,

I am facing a video display problem,

The B450 Tomahawk mother board took me about 45 mins to get it turned on.The mother board lights up just fine. And Cpu fan is running fine. But the problem i am having is trying to get my MSI video card to work.

The video card powers on perfectly fine. But no video is displaying.Should i leave it run and see if it will display in a little while.

This could also indicate a problem with the motherboard, CPU, or memory. Have you tried another video card?

There are actually debug LEDs on your motherboard:

So I think the top one is the cpu. This motherboard uses the Ryzen 7 x2700.So what's the deal.

I think this motherboard is DOA,So i am just going to return the item.

Thanks for the help. The thing that really annoying me is i waited a month at least for this replacement board Because ups takes for ever for shipping.

I had to re-config every thing again for my other motherboard.Due to this mess Seems like Ryzen is being a pain and i never had to RMA two freaking mother boards.I must be having bad luck or some thing.

What was the problem on your other motherboard? From my experience ASRock has the best AMD Ryzen motherboards.

Well for some reason I kept getting CPU error on red LEDs.So I am not sure if it's the CPU itself or if it's the motherboard. As you can see I can build them without issues.I have probably gotten two faulty motherboards from MSI and they use to be good. But I read online that the B450 tomahawk motherboard was very faulty. And would only work for a while.I had a Msi motherboard for about 5 to 6 years before it went dead.

    On both motherboards?

Their new upcoming X570 Taichi with ECC memory/Thunderbolt support looks great:

but this is probably one of the more expensive motherboards. From what I read have the new X570 motherboards (from all vendors - not just ASRock) a much better build quality then any of the previous Ryzen motherboards.

    Just the B450 motherboard

The other motherboard did not have the accessories kit and the cpu brackets from new egg.So basically it was a open box that did me no good for 243 dollars. So i could not even test to see if the mother board was good or not.

I never use the static bags.

And i never use the guidelines.I have never had issues with motherboards and static. The problem is they make stuff so dam cheap any more it basically turns into a paper weight.

I wouldn't say so cheap as much as so small. Into the single digit nanometer scale any difference in potential is like a tornado racing across the circuits of the chip. A discharge across a section of address paths or data paths or a few needed registers can have a profound outcome.
