Do it just like a house, on the other side of the same room..

And be sure to put that fan so it's right over your head so it pulls the air right past your nostrils.......... the way they're designed.

I would put the fan off to the side somewhere!!

I always wanted a urinal on one of the trees out back. Run the pipe around to the back side of the tree so to protect your boots. Have a party and someone needs to go.......just say yeah right behind the shed, the tree right there.

After the hurricane last year, I've decided I'm going to put in a old fashion hand pump well. I wish I could tap into an underground BEER SOURCE!!

LOL.....no, but you can use one of the wells if you have a long enough hose.

Not quite 6 miles from my house is a GIANT concentration of PFAS-laden land. We don't so much do wells around here.

Just carve one out of a log, and dump some lime in the hole underneath. Layer the leach. Pebble, gravel, and some lime on top.

Sounds like some I've seen in Italian nightclubs. Just a 1 tile deep cut in the floor the whole length of the room. Everybody side-by-side, still drunk-talking the whole time. But they did have the butler there with all the cologne, nose hair tweezers and head trimmers ready to get you fixed up!
    ....Tips accepted!

Oh, undoubtedly. Just like they're all over getting clean water to the folks over in Flint (who, by the way, are STILL living on bottled water). And yes, I am aware that started under the last administration. This one hasn't done jack, either.

Thankfully being a close to city dweller, must say my tap water is clear as crystal . Not to say we haven't had water issues in the past that lead to Class Actions with groups of people suing with proof that their drink water had made them sick. At the time, I reverted to bought filtered water for drinking (still do to this day - buy it by the flagon which is an inexpensive way to stay healthy - so I never got sick from drinking water as many of my friends did who poo pooed me by drinking tap water at the time.

The city water here (not my water, I'm 15 miles away from city residential hook-up) comes from a reservoir above a dam that separates fresh and salt water. Deer Point Dam. (look it up). The fresh water comes from natural springs further north in the county and even the next county. So many people swim, fish, boat, pee and who knows what from the springs on down to the dam where the collection point is.

It is processed and test, but any malfunction in the city water or sewer triggers 'BOIL WATER NOTICE' until the problem is corrected and water tests clear.

I'm glad to have my own. I also have my own drain field for septic on the opposite end of the land from the water. All lots where I'm located are this way.

I always wanted a urinal in my bathroom. It's a Master Suite so nobody but the wife besides me goes in there. Some have told me it would come off as sexist, but I don't see it that way.
just as some homes have bidet.

If I save enough from the insurance pay-off from Hurricane Michael, that might be part of the re-model/ repair!

My sister's house has a toilet and a urinal in the master bath. It also has two sinks, a walk-in shower with six heads, and a separate bathtub big enough it's got its own steps... deep and long enough you can stretch your legs out straight and still have water up to your chin. :)

I do want a (minimum) double shower over what is now a garden tub area. I work metal of different varieties and some survive water exposure and am trying to think of some kind of different shape or maybe even depth of the area where an entry doesn't require a door as like maybe a drying area between the shower and entry.

I know the folks who own the upper springs. They have a corner on the market of bottled water here. Also the office 5 gallon jug dispensers. The way the water is routed and captured , I think I'll keep my own well water.

I had well water for about 20 years till i moved out of my dad house...Well water was kinda eehh most of the time.We had to use a lot of water filters to keep it clean drinking water. If not we got the brown iron water if not kept up and maintained. We all so had too use a pressure tank and pressure switch for extra pressure i think are well was about 250 feet deep.

Little tip for iron water and stains...If you want to remove them stains from white acrylic tubes or sinks or toilets.Use the Iron out Iron OUT Rust Stain Remover.Works ten times better then CLR which is crap does nothing against rust beleave me i tried.Oh and you can use Lysol Lime and rust remover for toilet bowl.

Iron OUT Outdoor Rust Stain Remover, 1 Gallon

Lysol lime and rust toilet bowl cleaner...This works well.

The post you quoted above has nothing to do with my well. My water is crystal clear. I know the pipe condition from the pump to the faucet. No iron, no rust. No activated charcoal.

All bottled water, if it'as labeled spring, pure, natural.......you name it, it has to be taken with a grain of salt (water).....pun

Check this out on some of Florida's (or maybe not) water market.

You're right about some other's wells. There's a small town across Deer Point Lake from where I'm at. About 15 miles from here. Mostly all shallow wells. All smell like rotten eggs. Can't cook, can't bathe, can't do laundry without much filtering and additives and charcoal!

When I bought my land (1999), power was not on yet. There was an existing well and I thought the worse thing would be if it had bad water. I got lucky.
I have put in a new well (2010) and found perfect water 12 feet away from the original. Again- I got lucky!

That's how I've always envisioned well water needing some sort of filter...so I've been surprised with some of the posts here having such clean water...sounds much cleaner than what we get with the upteen filtered water coming out of our taps. Ironically we use the same drinking water as we use to shower and water the garden! Makes no sense...but then it would be a cost to have a rougher type water (not so filtered for e.g. toilet flushing) for watering the garden vs drinking/shower water.

We can do something similar here if we want. Though there is a difference to the (tap) water you get depending on where you live - even Northern suburbs versus Eastern suburbs (on other side of the Harbour Bridge!).

And then city water is hideous with so many chemicals (uuugggggh!) The Eastern suburbs water has a distinct chlorine taste (where I used to live). I do prefer the water where I live now, it is almost sweet and so clear. Only time we've had to treat it is during extremely dry weather time when dam waters are low - then we're told to either use bottle water or boil our water before drinking.
