I have run System File Checker and afterwards I was informed that some files were corrupted but could not be repaired and that a CBS log would tell me what to do. I attach an image of the Cmd prompt screen so you can see what it said. If I were to attach the log could someone please (a) tell me what problems I have and (b) how to fix. The log may as well be written in some obscure dialect of Mongolian as far as I can understand it.

and don't worry about upper and lower case when typing the commands. Dunno why they do it as it makes no difference at all.

I was going to run this today having got around to backing up my PC. However, either the instructions don't make sense or I'm incredibly thick. It says (and I cut and paste the following):

You need to run DISM from an elevated command prompt:
    1. Tap on the Windows-key to bring up the start menu.
    2. Type cmd.exe and wait for the results to populate.
    3. Right-click on the result named cmd.exe and select "run as administrator" to run it with elevated privileges
When you click the Windows-key there is nowhere to type anything. So, how are you supposed to do no. 2 above?

Just type it, no box is needed in 10

I understand now. The instructions would be clearer if they told people to click on 'Search'.

You can also right click Start > Windows Powershell and run dism there.
