Phishing Email ..

My wife received an email where the name of the pdf attachment was her actual password for a social media account.

The body of the message just said Password: xxxx where x = a numeric digit

Has anyone had an email like this and what should i do (other than change her password)

Those emails have been around for several years.
Dump the email in the trash and change the password. Social media sites regularly have info stolen. Does the site allow longer passwords? A 4 digit password is very insecure.
A password should be a combination of letters (both cap and small), numbers, and special characters and should be longer than 8 characters.

Seems like the server was not password protected.

password was a lot longer than 4 digits - These 4 digits seemed arbitrary and were in the body of the message.
Her actual password was the name of the attachment.

Anyway, password was changed yesterday. I hadn't seen this before so was a little worried. And it was for linkedin which surprised me too.
