Been using and liking Waterfox for a few months now.... but a few days ago, when I open a bookmark, everything freezes. I have to X out of each tab to close the browser. Anyone else experience this?

I only have an older portable version on another computer. I see a new version came out 5 days ago.
I was searching and there are two forks: Current and Classic
    https://www.waterfox.net/releases/
I suspect I'm on the classic because it has a portable version.

From reading it appears that opening a new tab crashes the browser. So far I haven't seen anything about a bookmark. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

It updated a day or so ago....but the issue preceded that.

Reddit is horrible at sending reply notifications and I think only some members even get them at all while others don't. It's pretty ridiculous for a large social platform.

I'm not sure about the problem you have. He seemed to say others have also reported it so hopefully he can figure it out soon.

Edit: Many browser issues are due to a buggy add-on. Have you tried disabling them one by one to see if that's it?

No add-ons. As I said...it was working great for months and then suddenly the issue occurred. I got the update notice and hoped that it would fix it...but alas.....

    I fired up my Waterfox
    and I have browser.tabs.remote.autostart
only mentioned once. If you can edit that, get rid of the 2nd browser.tabs.remote.autostart

My value is set to True. (This is the default). The only other option is False. (I can change by clicking then instead of default is says something like user modified or changed. (I on a different computer now and I don't remember the exact wording.)

Try changing the value to 0 or 1. I can't find what the value 2 means.

I only have the one instance. I was asked to paste about:source to them, so will see what happens. :)

OK...latest reply.....downgrade two add-ons ( I just deleted them ), switch to single processor mode, and try safe mode......I am currently using it and no problems with bookmarks so far!! :)

Update: After rebooting waterfox to normal mode....about 20 minute the scroll function started lagging by a few seconds on one site. So changed back to multi-processor mode and all is good for the last 24 hours or so.

I know this isn't really helping but if I had a reoccurring problem like this, I would try another browser.
    Pale Moon perhaps?
    Firefox 64-bit

Well see i am not having any issues.

You are on windows 10 right..Well i am still on windows 7.So it could be the OS causing issues. You know how windows 10 causes problems.

OR.....Waterfox doesn't work well on Windows 10....is that MS's fault? Or the developers fault? And what would you suggest I clean?
