Screen Saver Type Programme?

Currently I have Windows 10 'Personalise' active.
It displays selected images in slideshow fashion at 1 minute intervals when the PCs are not being used.
However, if an image appears I have no way of clicking and identifying it (ie. Where was that? When was that?....particularly with holiday images)......I use about 13,000 images.
Is there a screensaver programme that would give me that ability please?

    Thank you.
I think I am asking the impossible.....all my images are organised, named and in folders in the care of 'Windows Pictures.'
When I come out of any activity they are automatically and randomly selected as a background via the Personaliser tab.
I do actually have the images I want to see in one folder even though they are still in their separate itemised folders.
It's at that point that I want to be able to...perhaps right click the image and select 'Properties'...to identify it?
    Perhaps it is not possible?

What you would like to do isn't possible with a screensaver.

I just downloaded the portable xnview. It had that option but it hung on me. I'm getting the full prog now to see if it will follow thru. *In extra options it show text`to be added. And the default is <directory: filename>.

The scr's were made. The path/filname is up in the left hand top corner. The space bar acts as <pause>. Mouse keys are L-R navigation. Esc leaves. Probably a lot can be configured in options.

XnView doesn't have the option to make a screensaver.

I did make 4 .scr's from more than one folder. In the full version in comes up in the slide show option. When create is selected it gives the choice of .exe or .scr. I copied the scr's to the system32 folder. They showed up in the screensaver dialog but I haven't got them to run properly from 'personalize'. They do run great by just using as a stand alone screensaver as I described earlier.

    @Imandy Mann,
    Thanks. :)

After using XnView for more than 10 years, I just learned something.
FYI You need to copy/move the screensaver to the system32 folder.

I think xnview and faststone keep changing a little bit here and there. I know I've made many scr's and pdf's with 100's of jpg's in the past. That's been one way of my keeping another copy of photos of different subjects. I've really been impressed with the offerings of some of the freeware programs available!

    Definitely!
    XnView is an incredible program.
It can also read PDFs, and even has limited support for audio & video files.

I've just done the same thing with IView64. Copied to System32 and it DID display in screensaver and personalize dialogs and did run on the time schedule. Text is/ can be included. Default has path/ filename / index #. I built 1140 pics in about 40 seconds, but that was without any transitions, filters or anything 'cept putting in the folders. It's closest to OP's question so far.

Thank you so much for your efforts.
It may be a step too far for me but I will certainly have a look and see if I can achieve something.;)
