I have run several benchmarks on my system: It is VR ready, in fact more than VR ready.
    Now we look at costs...
Are the games worth purchasing the hardware (and software!) I'll need in order to run them?
I don't enjoy first person shooters, I prefer MMORPG style games.
    Any suggestions?

And as for the cost, while I could easily afford it, my nickname is "That Cheap Barstard!", and it is deserved. :)

    Sadly, I don't own a smart phone.
I refuse to purchase a device that is more intelligent than I am. (That pretty much restricts my choices; on the other hand there are some really NICE designer potato peelers...)

The cheaper solutions I couldn't put up with, and the HTC Vive has been dossing in storage.

I felt that all released VR games were very linear and purposeless, which is why I put it away; but with Half Life: Alyx on the way I'll definitely unpack it and set it up again. When I got my Vive it wasn't worth the premium, now however there is more content and headsets have gone down in price a tad.

It is worth the fun, but like anything else I find it's more fun with friends as you can fart-arse about like kids. Cash-wise, it's up to you. Overall worth it, yes I don't regret buying one.

If you can afford it Joe, my stand would be on purchasing quality........dont cheap out on your passion and entertainment.

Your online experience will be enhanced and trouble-free.....we hope ;)

Game streaming is the new age now, and once we are all hooked to Elon Musks new Sat Internet, we should be lag free if we have the high end hardware to sop it up like gravy!
