Accidently Deleted Photos: Files Too Big For Recycle Bin

Is there a way for me to recover these pictures? It was a large amount of pictures.

I tried recuva and esurus and neither seem to be successful in recovering the actual images and videos. The files are there but the images are reportedly intact but not visible . . . and the ones that are look distorted. Suggestions?

 

After scanning, select the files you want to recover and click Recover... at the bottom right.
The files will be saved to a location of your choice.
Recuva can't help with corrupted files.

The secret to recovering deleted files is to do it asap - preferably using a portable app running from a flash drive.

 

I recovered as soon as I had a method. I saved the programs to the desktop but the files are back up externally. Only a handful of the files are corrupted. The rest seem to be intact but none open.

 

If the files are not personal, put some in a ZIP archive and upload it.
I think the limit is 3 MB.

 

The files seem to be properly named but I don't know what is in each file (they are family videos and pictures). I am hesitant to upload pictures of what is likely my children. Do you have any other suggestions? The problem is I see a file but I cannot open it because it does not recognize the file type.

jpg, png, mov, and mp4. I kind of went a little crazy since I like to capture family videos (my kids tried surfing for the first time). I would like to be able to recapture the pictures and videos if possible . . .

 

also heic files . . . I was using iphone, canon camera, and go pro (I am a crazy mom)
