I suddenly had several sites that would not load on my PC, including MajorGeeks.
I normally use Palemoon, but tried the same sites using Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer. The sites do load using my wife's PC.
I posted in the Software forum and was told to try and flushing the DNS cache, I did and rebooted but no change.
The next suggestion was to ping the sites on both the computer. Pinged sited on my computer and my wife's. On my computer, they timed out. On wife's they pinged.
I next followed the malware removal guide. Malwarebytes will not installed, changed the file name to MB and then to M but it will not install.
Rest of the programs ran and logs are attached.

Well, there is no malware. Perhaps try uninstalling it, reboot and see if things start working. I am not versed in that software, but it is designed to prohibit websites.

One other thing.....have you plugged directly into your router? And clear this up for me....can you access any sites??

If you can access other sites and since I can not find any malware, my best determination it the parental controls.

    Plugged into router, no change.
Cleared Palemoon cache, rebooted, no change
Uninstalled Palemoon, rebooted, reinstalled, no change.
I have no parental controls set on the computer.

Then is there a problem with uninstalling the program? As I stated, I haven't found any malware and the only possibility that I can see would be the presence of a parental control program.....that maybe someone else set just to mess with you??? :)

    No problem uninstalling.
I am the only one that uses the computer and there are no parental controls on it.

I understand what you are saying....but since it is not malware and you can access other websites, I have no other suggestion for you. If uninstalling and rebooting does not solve your issues, you should probably go back to your software thread.

Since you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
