Trying To Fix Front Usb Ports.

I can not seem to figure out why my Front USB port system is not working in Windows 7.They will dectect stuff like flash drives and the mouse receiver.But the main issue is that it's not installing any driver or software for them to work.

And on top of that issue.Both of my mouse don't like the rear port's for some reason.The mouse courser will lag like crazy.If it's plugged into the back port.

For some reason it's having a hard time with this.I have tried figuring out why.And i am at a ends point.

Yes i still prefur to windows 7 over 10.And i was able to remove that annoying Hardware message on windows 7.

 

It might help if you mentioned your USB chipsets makes and show what's connected to which. Also whether your front ports are USB 2 or 3 and which chipset they're connected to internally.

I have tried to plug in every thing i have to the front ports.They are powered and working as normal.They give that Ding sound but for some reason the system keeps giving error not installed or just does not show up in the my computer listings.

FYI front ports work fine before no issues even on windows 10.I even install windows through the front ports.

 

Please set Device Manager's View to 'Devices by Connection' as in my screenshot and drill down the PCI list to expand all USB connections fully, so we can see which devices are hooked up to to which USB controllers and hubs.

What USB version are the front ports on the case?

Which BIOS revision# is the 'board on?

 

Bios version is F50a I think the front ports are either 2.0 or 3.0 not really sure looks like both

If the unknown devices are connected to your front panel, it could be that you need USB 3.1 ports/cable, or that *some driver* is missing, or maybe some deep settings need switching over (BIOS/UEFI/Registry/DevMan device Properties ...).

You may need to study your 'board manuals.

 

But as i said it worked fine in windows 10 with out issue.The Front panel USB ports are connected directly to the motherboards USB option.So i don't understand why there would be an issue.They even worked during install.with out any lag.The one USB drive i have plugged in is causing one of the errors.It will not install driver to use for some odd reason.

 

Recheck the connectors on the motherboard's USB Header.

 

W7 !/= W10, there are many differences.

Is W7 fully updated yet?

 

Check your cable type on the usb drive. Old style A will work but you will get error on the driver. Make sure the cable matches the connector.

 

Hello. I would try running Iobit driver booster and see if that will fix it.

Nothing wrong with the headers.Checked both USB connections on motherboard.I think this has to be software related now.Worked perfectly fine when i was installing windows 7.And now that windows 7 is fully updated and drivers are installed not sure what the issue could be.
