Suprised Brexit not been blamed yet!

This is increasing and will be a pandemic this month, think the true infected and death toll is larger than released.
Are we ready, yes as much as we can as the hpsoital I work in, is one of the 4 in UK that deals with serious infectious disease and they are always ready, TBH we have had Ebola patients before. Is this a problem the coronavirus is but global travel these days, we cannot contain anything so it will spread, its how we deal with it and self isolate.

Do I subscribe to this video, not really but it has questions.

Wow Tim I didn't realise :cool:...........we had our dog immunised for kennel cough as well as several other things...........hmmmm........so Tim are you saying we could go to the vet and get some shots and we would be safe from coronavirus lolol o_O:rolleyes:

Mind you over here going to the vet would cost you a fortune so better off to go see a doctor as doctors here are in most cases free

LOL...no, first off because kennel cough is not something that is cross species. But if you ever have to board your dog for any amount of time, they will probably give him a shot, just in case.

Rep....you are welcome to have a con man, serial adulterer, a pathological liar, a thief, a person who defrauded kids looking for an education, a man who "trusts" Putin over his own intelligence community, not to mention a person impeached who was then acquitted by a Senate that refused testimony or witnesses and then a few days later admitted that he had done exactly what he was impeached for. So please, be our guest.

They are shutting down a lot of places now in the US sports and concerts where first be cause of the amount people that would show up.Then on Friday of all days the 13th they shutdown all the schools in the us.I wonder and now congress shut down. This is going to be a major impact.I drive school buses in my spare time i have a two week layoff now.So from what i am understanding this is a major impact on smaller businesses they might close down too.The Stores in my area where totally crazy there was no toilet paper on shelves. and i stood there in line for all most 30 mins.People get crazy as long as my food hold out for two weeks i would rather just keep my ass at home.

Sorry to disappoint, but the reality is Trump is no businessman. Unless you count inheriting over 400 million dollars from mommy and daddy, had his casino bailed out by daddy to the tune of over three million dollars in violation of New Jersey state gaming laws (still failed anyway), had daddy gin up a bonespurs diagnosis from a doctor, has declared bankruptcy a half dozen times, and if you talk to the creators of the apprentice, his digs were "too shabby" for the show so they built a set for it. And, that's the short list.

And, hecalls himself a "self made man" despite being the absolute worst product generational wealth has given the United States since Franklin Pierce.

    You can have him.

I thought we stayed away from politics on this site for the most part, but since it has been brought up here goes. I'm not here to argue or debate. I am sure many do not agree with me. These are just my thoughts.
I happen to agree that President Trump has accomplished a lot for the country. He is not a perfect person, far from it, and I don't have to like his past life or his personality to see he is trying to head the country in a good direction. A lot more could be accomplished if Congress worked with him instead of fighting him. Sadly the country is split by political party affiliation more than I have seen in my lifetime. We can not believe the media to report the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Many refuse to give him credit for anything good. Yes, he has made mistakes, misspoken, and at times made bad decisions. So did past Presidents. I'm sure future presidents will also. All are human.
I'd like to see the country unite for the best interest of the country. I know I do not want to live in a Socialist or Communist country. I will never vote for a politician that supports giving up freedoms that we are guaranteed by our Constitution, nor will I vote for one that is pro-abortion. Yes, that makes me a conservative Christian and I do not apologize for that. If it makes anyone dislike me so be it.
Do a search for "Trump Administration Accomplishments," if interested, you may be surprised.

You speak your mind and hold true to your feelings and beliefs. I give you respect and great credit for being that way. A lot of Americans are that way and so we see the divisions among us. I may only see 1 or 2 more election cycles and it sure would be nice to see a time when there aren't such deep divisions being the front news every day over every little detail.
I believe we as grown people should be able to handle the majority of our own daily lives and problems without the constant cry of 'why aren't you taking care of'....the next hot topic!

It does make me wonder how Christians support a man who violates just about every principle they hold dear. Violating nearly every commandment. Prevaricating on a level unheard of. Adultery. How many of the Seven Deadly sins has this guy amassed? And, the pattern of behavior continues unapologetically. Seems hypocritical to me...

  34. TimW

TimW MajorGeeks Administrator - Jedi Malware Expert Staff Member

Because he really has no principles.
Trump changes political parties about as often as he changes his stance on abortion!! ( Actually, he has no position. He just espouses what he thinks his audience wants him to say!!)

    Political party Republican (1987–1999, 2009–2011, 2012–present)
Other political affiliations Democratic (until 1987, 2001–2009) Reform
    (1999–2001) Independent (2011–2012)

Two decades ago, Donald Trump described himself as “pro-choice in every respect.”

Since you posted this yesterday, that number has gone up to 7131. That is in 3 months. It is spreading and killing exponentially.
The death rate as per the site you posted is 3.4%. The flu doesn't even come close. "CDC estimates that influenza was associated with more than 35.5 million illnesses, more than 16.5 million medical visits, 490,600 hospitalizations, and 34,200 deaths during the 2018–2019 influenza season." (for the US: https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/2018-2019.html)

Treating something like this with the seriousness it deserves does not take away from the rest of the horrifying numbers you posted above. Inaction and treating it like it's 'the flu', which btw we have vaccines for and a very low death rate for defies logic to me. Before people say this is being overblown, please take a look at the figures in China and Italy.

It is. They willingly abandon their principles for expediency or personal gain all too easily. When one can just ask Jesus for forgiveness, there are no eternal consequences.

    Hubris is an ugly stench...

Joe Kernen: “Are there worries about a pandemic at this point?”

Trump: “No. Not at all. And—we’re—we have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s—going to be just fine.”

    There's the problem.

It's not "politics". It's about leadership. It's about trust. It's about being skilled in a crisis. It's about character, most paramount.

The word "politics" is simply a distraction.

Many of us voted for Trump because he was NOT a politician, the lesser of the two evils we had to choose between, in my opinion, not because he is a perfect man. No one is! I still think he was doing a good job with the economy.

I know it is hard for non-believers to understand what the Christian faith believes. What you said about Christians asking for forgiveness and then doing what they want is wrong, that is not how it works. Trump's past sins are between him and God. And you will notice I did not make fun of you or ridicule you for what you believe. We are all born with a free will to believe or not believe in God that is why I said I would not argue with you. I'll just leave you with that. Peace!

Before this virus got started, I don't believe for a moment any one of us thought we should have a top notch doctor for president. If I remember right wasn't there a couple senators who were life long doctors who were out voted? And I thought the Surgeon General as the leading spokesperson reporting to the Assistant Secretary of health Under the Secretary of Health all had the task of fighting things like we're now seeing. All part of a 6500 member group to oversee the health and safety of US citizens.

I think there are quite a few people who didn't step up to the plate on this.

A set of golf clubs would be Trump's fiddle.

The earliest he was warned forcefully was Dec. 22, 2019. Aides to the president called Alex Azar an "alarmist". There was a "formal notification" on Jan. 3 2020. Yet Trump held 8 rallies and played golf 6 times in the ensuing weeks. On Jan. 22nd, he declared “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China".

I really find it hard to believe Hillary Clinton would have f***** up like this. If you see her as "just some politician", I beg to differ. Much like Victoria Woodhull, the woman is a credit to her gender whether people believe it or not.

Trump lost his home state. Much of America sees the reality TV star. Most New Yorkers already knew him too well to vote for him.
