Recover My Pdf Password?

I have a private PDF document which has a password on it. Pulled off the file from backup drive but unable to unlock it for wrong password. I tried a free tool called GuaPDF but it says 128-bit AES not supported. Is it still possible to recover the lost password?

Thanks @Eldon. I do check the tools in lifewire post as it is ranked in top search result when I am trying to get answer from Google. The only working tools is PDFCrack and still no result after running for 48 hrs

 

Then you're out of luck.
The ability to recover/remove the password depends on the encryption algorithm, password strenght, and even the size of the document.

 

Even though I have not used GuaPDF, it is said that it is not that helpful.
It is possible to recover PDF password without GuaPDF,Here are some softwares recommended for you to try.
John the Ripper and PDFCrypt
They may be very complicated to operate, good luck.
