Over the years I have tried a lot of things to remove this managed by your Organization.
I even tried using another browser than google but it showed there too.

How do you get rid of this for good. I finally ignored it I mis understood, it is a legitimate feature.
But I have since learned if you do not have Organization it is a virus.

God only knows who might have stolen my ID.

I know a little about computers, but treat me as a novice as tech has changed so fast I am probably one. I use Windows 10, a Dell laptop.

I just tried the Reimage free version and that did not remove it.

I have tried 'O & O ShutUp10', but either I don't know how to use it correctly, or it does not remove it.

    Thank you in advance.

    Reimage is malware.

Did you purchase this computer used? Was it a business computer?

If you feel you have malware, please follow the Read and Run First instructions at the top of this forum and then attach the requested logs.

If you run Windows 10 Pro have you changed any settings under Group policy?
    Try this:

I have had to move this to the public forum.....please only make replies to posts in this forum, NOT the other forum. I will either move someone's thread who is asking for expert assistance due to anyone posting there or deleting anyone who posts in that forum.

    Hello TimW,
I purchased a refurb and installed Windows 10 fresh.
Are you saying I installed malware by installing Reimage! or is it anti-Malware? I am going to remove it, I am scared.

I will see if I can find and do this Run First, I remember reading it a long time ago and I could not figure it out as I remember.

Forgive me, not used to using this forum. I purchased a refurb laptop and installed Windows 10 fresh.

I will try to find and do the Run First but I recall trying to do this in the past and could not figure it all out.

I am getting a blue screen, so I installed reimage. Are you saying I have installed Malware, or are you saying it is an Anti-malware.

    TIA.

My guess is you purchased a refurbed machine that had not been completely wiped. Which is something you should have done prior to installing Windows.

It was through Amazon, I believe the company wiped it out totally. Then I came along and installed Windows myself. I would think it would have wiped out what was there previously, but not sure. But they said they had wiped the drive.

Thank you Goddess Bastet, those instructions removed it. Two of the lines returned could not find it, but I kept going and did them all to the end. The message is gone. I kept the instructions and will use them again should it come back. I had used videos from youtube to fix it but they did not permanently remove it. Came right back, etc. TY again.
