Mcafee Personal Security & Windows Defender

    I want to uninstall McAfee Personal Security on Win 10. Will Windows Defender be deleted?

    Simple answer is NO. Windows Defender will auto kick back on once Mcafee Personal Security is uninstalled.

    Above answer jives with many others that I've read - Windows Defender will NOT be removed when you uninstall a 3rd party antimalware app. However, do double check to make sure Win Defender is indeed turn back on! Just this week, after installing and later uninstalling Malwarebytes and then rebooting... I got a Windows warning that Win Defender is off. I had to manually turn it back on.
