I'm Still Here..

    I don't know how long it's been since I last popped in but I was doing some closet cleaning and I came across my majorgeeks sweatshirt that I got many, many moons ago.

    I'm not sure who's still lurking about but i wanted to pop in and say hi. Here are just few things that have taken place in the past.

    I finally got my drivers license (long time coming..) :D
    I have a job in health care that I really enjoy. 2020 was rough but I have a great boss and he really cares about his employees and I like my coworkers (mostly lol).

    A while back, I made a new years resolution to do at least one thing that I never done before/ knock something off my bucket list.

    Which has resulted in some really cool experiences, like state traveling, staying in fancy hotels, visiting different restaurants/trying new foods, exploring cool state parks, visiting different beaches (and being bold enough to wear a two piece :eek:) . This year for my birthday we are visiting Niagara Falls!


    How is everyone been doing?

    Haha.. Sooorrryyyy!! :p

    2020 is when everything went all crazy! Have been super busy at work since then and just trying to live life and make new memories.
    I will try to pop in more often!

    Anything new with you?

    IIRC, you were doing tech support and used to tell us stories about some of the calls you received. Very happy you have landed on your feet and are in high spirits.

    The only thing with me is we sold our house and bought a smaller log home and I spent the last few years on the couch due to needing and having my left knee replaced. In Dec., I had what's called genicular nerve ablation which, so far, has finally stopped all the pain. So life is close to being back to normal.

    Dy! Hey you! :) It's so good to hear from you. I'm glad you popped in to say hi. I would imagine if you got in the health care field things definitely got really crazy. At the moment it seems that it's taken a bit of the turn for the better. Nice on the bucket list. They are always great.
    We just accomplished one of mine and went to New Orleans for the Final Four NCAA basketball tournament. We were supposed to go in 2020, but well, you know... Anyway, they honored it for this year and we lucked out that it was in New Orleans...so you can take 2 things off my list.

    Other than that, all is well here. My girls are full adults and I don't have any kids in college any more, which I guess just means I'm old. Life is fairly good...other than the getting old part.

    Yea, I'm no longer with that crazy boss, although it produce some funny comments/stories. I kinda miss those but not that much. ;)

    Knee pain is serious business and I'm ao happy to hear you arent in pain any longer. I'm not sure I could say you are good as new however. :p

    I'm 17yrs still in ophthalmology and research, loving it as each week is different.
