Lg Fortune 3

Hello all,
My mom has an LG Fortune 3, and recently she started having issues with its limited storage capacity. The phone is unable to update and doesn't work as expected anymore. (For example, she can't access her email at times)
I bought her a memory card, only to discover that these phones don't have an option to format it as internal storage. Only as Portable storage and I cant move apps from the internal memory over to the sd card.

Butit says that I need something called a Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool.
I get very weirded out about downloading things so I'm back asking for help and guidance once again
If I blow up her phone she will end me lol

 

Clear the old emails & messages.
Uninstall the apps she doesn't use.
Move her photos and other personal files to the memory card.

I've used that tool before without issues. Give your mom the two options and let her decide.

 

Can you connext to a laptop/desktop or other storage option such as your cloud storage, to dump photo's, video's etc which are then saved, and can then be deleted from phone to free up space?

Most software photo apps will give you the option to delete original files from device once transfered.
Save you doing it manually which can be a PITA

You wont need an SD

 

Hi guys, the issue with this phone it that it doesn't let you move apps to the SD card.
Nor does it allow me to delete the apps that she doesn't use. This is hands down the most garbage phone I have ever seen in my life.
I was unable to move forward with the link because when connected to my pc her phone doesn't show as an android device, but as removable storage.
She refused to buy a new phone....so I'm going to order her one tonight. I just cant with this LG anymore. Cricket should be ashamed for even selling it to her.

For Apps to e stored for recreation on current or new device, you will need a regular phone 'back-up'to the cloud or other!
SD cards are 90's
