I like chocolate cake well enough. Between the wife and grand-kids, I would only get one slice of chocolate cake anyway.

I prefer sweet pecan pie. (The kind you get a sugar rush just sniffing.)

I think I made that chocolate pecan pie once. (One of my friends used to work in the test kitchens at Hershey Foods.) I also know I made a peanut pie with the same consistency of a pecan pie.
I like pecan pie but my husband doesn't so I buy a frozen Marie Callender pecan pie, semi-thaw it and cut it into 8 pieces. I put each piece into a freezer container and refreeze the slices. When I know I want a piece of pecan pie, I get one container out and let it come to room temp. When I'm ready for the treat, I put it into the microwave for a short time so it gets gooey. Yum.
