Hi. First post so looking for help plse after a stupid error.
Laptop HP 15s working fine until decided to change partition layout on the 256gb nvme drive using diskpart.
Did this before to split drive with a 85gb boot partition and the rest as data. This time I chose to remove all ptns assuming windows installer would reformat drive. Now it does not see the drive. Paragon backup util sees the disk but will not access.
I used diskpart to create a new ntfs system partition and all looks good but drive still not accessible or seen by the windows installer.
Assuming windows has the driver then what else do I need to do apart from getting a larger drive anyway. Help plse

So you are trying to reinstall Windows and the installer doesn't see the drive?
Go to Hp and see if there is a "storage" driver you need to install to see the drive.
    Can you post exact model?

Hi. Yes I have backup before I did the deed so I just need to reinstall basic windows.
Model is HP 15S fg2 with original kioxia 256 nvme..
The Paragon backup utility does see the disk and allows interogation but when I try to restore the backup it doesn't give the drive as an option.
Tbh I've never been happy with the new nvme tech and don't know any useful utilities as with the old sata hdd.
The fact the windows installer sees the flash drive but not nvme is making me think it is a driver issue but so how come Paragon does.
I'm happy to recreate a new partition but not aware of any other procedure than I've now done several times.

Paragon may have more/different drivers than the Windows installer. You have a backup you made with Paragon and it doesn't see the drive when you try to restore?
During the Windows install, when you're at the part when it should show drives you can install Windows to, there in an option to load drivers there.
