Hi I have a Dell Latitude 3510, Windows Pro and 16 gigs memory. I cannot update the latest craz from Windows 11 pro, when I try it wont go through. I will post the pic below to help you understand what I am talking about.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

That's a Preview Update, not recommended unless you enjoy undoing risky changes manually.

It's like a beta version, I fell for one once - started seeing issues @ 6 weeks later, removed it and 're-installed' the new 'real' Update and no more crashes or BSODs after that.

I'd leave that on the shelf with all the other Previews.

Would you mind breaking that statement down into chunks small enough for me to understand?

    Thanks :)

Sure bottom line, "How do I get rid of the download from popping up all the time?"

Win 10 pro...I used GPEDIT (Windows Update)to prevent downloading updates without asking me, however the latest(As of recently) is important updates will download and install in anyway.
You see:"Some settings are managed by your organization" & "View configured update policies"
    >>Uptional Quality Update Available
    >>2025-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5062649)..........And it sits till I download it, however I cannot hide it(Tool download to hide updates).

    • To block Windows 10 from upgrading to Windows 11 using the Group Policy Editor:
    • Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter.
    • Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update > Windows Update for Business
    • Look for the policy named "Select the target Feature Update version" and double-click it.
    • Set it to Enabled, and in the box for the target version, enter either 21H2 or 22H2, depending on which Windows 10 version you want to stick with.
    • Click Apply and OK to save your changes.

    >>I added this now 22H2 from how to page.

I just noticed that Windows had installed some small updates that I did not know of by opening Reliability Monitor, click the day.
