Default Sort Order In Windows 11 File Explorer

    Hi!
    The default sort order for files for my operating system (win11) is by name and descending. I realise that this order can be changed fairly easily but does anyone know how to make the default sort order date / ascending? I particularly want this sort order for pictures and videos - documents can stay with name order.

    Sort the folder the way you want it, then click at the top ellipse (...) then Options, the View tab and click Apply to Folders.

    Hopefully that is it, I run Explorer Patcher and my options may be different.
