Hi all my dell Inspiron 13 3510 windows home with 16 gig memory went black after it did a Bios Firmware update and said, " The Kernals are bad and computer needs to be recovered. I was dumbfounded. So I just waited then turned it on again and finally the Dell Icon came on and it went into asking if I want to roll back Bios so I did. Well then it said it ran into a problem. Argh! Now it says," Your device ran into a problem Diagnosing a problem. I am stuck does anyone know to do deal with this issue?

    Thanks

    At your black screen enter:
    Win + Ctrl + Shift + B
and then hopefully all is well.

Just to be clear, this message is from Windows loading now, not the BIOS? These errors sound like Windows errors.
Have you tried to boot into advanced options and try recovery?
After three failed boot attempts it should go to Window Recovery, select Troubleshoot → Advanced Options
StartUp Repair - if that fails, try Command Prompt
    Type:
    chkdsk C: /f /r
    sfc /scannow /offbootdir=C:\ /offwindir=C:\Windows
    DISM /Image:C:\ /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /fixboot
    bootrec /scanos
    bootrec /rebuildbcd
