Newbie Here—how Do Things Work Around These Parts?

Hey everyone, Since I’m the new guy, I don't want to step on any toes. Just had a few quick ones:
1.Any big "don'ts" I should watch out for? Just want to make sure I’m following the vibe of the place.
2.Best way to keep up with the cool new stuff? Any specific threads or sections I should be stalking?
3.What’s the right way to talk software here? I’m always testing tools (and building some too), and I’d love to share thoughts or ask for help without being "spammy."
