    Hi all...

Been having a few system problems lately and I realized I don't have a reliable recovery disk for my xp boxes. Can someone please give a recommendation for a reliable recovery disk or program I can use to create one for my systems? Seems like such a basic thing, but I've found they're not as easy to come by as I thought.

    Thanks in advance.

Hey Spaz. I found this here on MG. Sounds like a good app.

Hi and thanks, Bill. I actually downloaded and burned that app once and had trouble with it booting. Maybe I'll try it again and take the time to figure out what I did wrong. :)

Just a idea for you both. When burning a cd or dvd that you want to boot from, burn it at a really slow rate. The slower the better. Hope that helps.

You need Norton Ghost, or Acronis or Paragon imaging software.

Any of these will copy a snapshot 'image' of your system to DVD so that you can replace it if things go wrong.
