avg antispyware failed to activate resident scanner

I am still within the trial period
and it states that it will run within the trial
but that and the updats will cease
and the end of the trial

I have searched MG and googled

and found litte information
either not what I need or just completly off

 

it's available for the first 30 days. Did you install anything else after it or change any reg keys?

 

i've been using AVG Antispyware 7.5 (which is free) for ages and it runs the resident shield and updates regularly

but I installed it on my mother inlaws. .it works fine

but mine. .I have uninstalled and reinstalled. .
I dont get it. . .

 

If you reinstall AVG Anti-Spyware, it kills your trial and goes straight to the free version, even though the time has not expired.

 

You all do know AVG AS is/was Ewido Anti-Malware just use their support forums.
