No Connection?

I don't know if this is a malware or hack attempt but eariler this morning when I turned my computer on, I was able to view sites and everything and then I went to log onto MySpace, I was able to get to the site and when I clicked log in, I got a " The page cannot be displayed " screen. So I tried on my Laptop and I could log in just fine. So I cleaned out my computer, I used CleanUp and ran an AdAware and restarted. So I tried to do it again, didn't work. So I download Monzilla's Firefox and when I tried to open the browser, it said that there was an error and that it cannot be connected. What is going on? I can view web sites, just not sign in on specific ones and Firefox won't run right.

Hi

Have you tried first of all to as well as claning temps cache and cookies to flush your DNScache, to do this click Start > Run and type ipconfig /flushdns as sometimes you can have a negative entry in their that will stop you attaching to some sites properly.

Other than that to filly rule out malware as the cause you will ahve to run the guide below, for our malware experts to look over,

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:

CounterSpy

AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy

Bitdefender - from step 6

Panda Scan - from step 6

runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat

newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat

HijackThis

NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

Here are the first three logs, I couldn't figure out how to save a log from CounterSpy and it wouldn't let me remove or quarentine anything it found because I didn't have a serial key and there were no directions on the READ THIS topic. So Should I run a AVG instead than since I couldn't save a log?

I'm going to need help really fast! Now my laptop has been hacked and I can't access internet explorer or any other type of web browser. I have to sign into AOL and use there web browser to get online. Same thing with my desktop

Delete everything in C:\!KillBox

Empty the Quaritine folders for :
CounterSpy
Ewido Security Suite

Run CCLeaner

Panda ActiveScan seems to have identified several Legit processes as Bagle

NewFIles is incomplete
GetRunKeys is incomplete

Download new version of both, as these are updated frequently.

Give me new logs for GetRunKeys, ShowNew, and Panda ActiveScan

Web Browsers

Well it seems that my No Connection? Post has been deleted and I figured out why all 3 were down but my Desktop is still giving me a hard time and not letting me sign into anything, it just gives me a "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" page and when I try using Firefox it just says it cannot connect. I posted every single log i was asked to post last time and it was deleted. Panda Scan found 10 Virus', 10 Spyware and 6 hacks and I submitted it w/ the rest of the post and I had no other help after that

It wasn't deleted, due to new threads it was pushed back. I merged you back to your initial thread. From now on, check the other pages because as new threads are created the older ones get pushed back.

I did check, thats odd, I even went to my OLD POSTS thing at the top and i've had posts almost a year old on there but not this one
