Another good time waster

Based on the WoW series, build your defence towers along the track to keep the 'monsters' away from your castle. Have not had a chance to really get into it yet as I found it on my luch break, but will likely try harder later.

Auuggghhh... don't it figure... every time i try to play this, i get a call... and Sundays are usually much less busy....

Ah well.. guess I will ahve to try when I get home. I get the first couple waves out of the weay and when I get ready to upgrad and improve, i get a call and it all goes to you-know-where.. LOL

mathematically, the best 2 things to build excepting the flower one are fire to max level, for a damage ratio of 3.055:1, or water to 3342 damage, for a damage ratio of 2.457:1. After that the water becomes less effective.

And anytime you build a storm tower, god kills a kitten.

 

Think I'm tied for first...The guy that made it said the best he did was 90!!

Actually your calculations are a bit off ST47, most here have found that the leaf towers and at least one water tower give the best results, as your calculations do not consider "Range". It appears that "76" seems to be the highest any of us can get which is 14 waves less than what the Author of this game claims he can get. mmmmmmmmmmmmmh

Also have any of you had "Towers" just up and dissapear sometime during the game:cry

ST47, i tried your strategy a few diff ways,; it works out VERY well until you hit about wave 55 then they just plow right through you. I think i had like 5 full fire, 3 ice to that 3000ish point and one flower tower. Only got to wave 67. My friend used leaf towers, not sure what else, got to 82 :banghead

 

Yea right on Viper on your first point, but I would sure like to hear how your friend got to 82 with the "Leaf" towers I had twelve working and still only got to wave 76...........Just for info it takes 2,375 points to build a "Leaf Tower" with 9,000 damage points and a range of 200, which is the most effective use of points.............After that it is just placement.........The "Flower Tower" costs 3,000 points for 9,090 damage points and 8,000 points for 15,000 damage points, but its limited range and slow fire rate seems to make it less effective, I have not raise it to the next upgrade yetconfused .

Anyway thats my take after way to many hours :cry

 

I got to 76 by getting two ice towers to about mid level at the beginning and then spending the rest of my money making leaf towers. I think if you could have just a few leaf towers at max and then have a bunch of another type at mid level that would get you higher. Once you get in the 60's though mid level towers seem ineffective.

 

true, I didn't consider range, I'll try cochese's strategy later today, though it sounds sound.

a max "Living Tower" costs 2,375, gives 9,000, with 215 range
(3.78:1)
a basic "Armed Tower" costs 2,000(not 3,000) and does 9,090, with a range of 150.
(4.545:1, ignoring possibly lower range)

let us see:
3.78*215*215*pi=548932
or 321something, says max living is better
Or we can just rob a bank beforehand...

 

I survived until wave 69 with 2 ice towers at 3342 and 7, almost 8, nature towers at max. I am going to try to see if the armed towers are better that max natures, I forget their range

Have you read this? They talk about the bugs and how it is impossible to get to 90 without cheating. I think it was 83 tops. They pretty much tell you everything you want to know about the game.
