I have two hard drives, C: (30 GB) F:(250 GB)

My operating system Windows XP Home.

Most of my C: drive is filled up with used space, ie; music, pics, operating system and other items, I have very little space left on this drive with a overwhelming space available on my F: drive.

I have tried to move thing over to F: to free up space on C:, well with my limited abilities I have created some problems, movong some software I probaly should not have.......oops.

I would like to see if someone could offer up advice on the way to best, eliminate the current 30 Gb hard drive and transfer everything (including operating system) to the 250 GB drive and remove the 30 GB.

My 30 GB is set to Master and the 250 is set to Slave.

I appreciate any good advice, thanks.

I would backup your stuff to DVD and switch the drives. You'll have to reinstall XP on the new drive and then restore your files but you'll have to reinstall your programs. There may be an easier way but that's what I did when installing my 250 SATA11. Wait for other opinions.

BTW, I never have everything on one partion just incase I get infected and have to reinstall. I have a 20GB for XP, a partition for software and a large partition for my documents and I haven't lost a single byte because of this method
