Zone Alarm

I got a new anti-virus (Zone Alarm) program for my computer (lap top) and every time I am using it with Mozilla. It pops up a box and freezes my computer up.. I even tried to close it with task master and it will let me use the arrow keys but, not the mouse.. any one have any suggestions?

 

first of all Zone Alarm it's not an antivirus, it's a firewall. May be it worth to reinstall it or change the firewall.

hmm, so then excuse me, i'm not an expert in Zone Alarm products, and for some reason i was sure that it's only a firewall. Anyway the Best antivirus is NOD.

 

From your description I believe that your problem is one of configuration. Open the main Security Center window for ZA and choose "Program Control." On the "Main" tab set "Smart Defense" to "Automatic." Click the "Advanced" tab and make sure that the radio buttons are marked for "Always ask for permission. Click the "Programs" tab. Scroll down to your browser and make sure that there are green checks in both columns under "Access." Under "Firewall," select the "Advanced" tab and click "Restore defaults." Hi, Zone Alarm is like Plaphon said, a firewall. I have used it in the past as sole protection and it was affective for internet use.Though i wouldn`t recommend it as sole protection. Zone Alarm can be a pain at times and i found it best to delete it entirely and reinstall it.
