Bathroom Project

Just a few minor bits of touching up to take care of now...

 

Nice job you guys, for a small space you guys have done a great job in making it open an airy. Makes you wonder why house designers seem to want to build small Bathrooms:mad, should have only women design Bathrooms and Kitchens. I know the ones I have built, I always let my wife layout both rooms, and I just say those words "Yes Dear"LOL , the rest of the house I get equal say (well almost)!!

Lev just one question, that is either a composite or lino faux hardwood right??

 

It's laminate, so before you gulp about laminate being in a potential wet environment, it is fully glued in to prevent swelling from moisture. Both the contractor and plumber have installed it in their bathrooms that way and it works fine

And if I had a dollar for everytime I have heard the words "Yes Dear" in the last week, I would be a very rich woman

excellent job lev. I know which side of the shower is yours, by the rack already hanging up over the shower head. bet in a week or two you're gonna want more storage space in there for everything that won't fit on that one..he he. your poor hubby....I know what he'll go through knocking all kinds of stuff down while trying to lather up. but you guys did a helluva job! enjoy it!

 

Nice work Lev. I've been renovating my basement bathroom for over a year now. It was in bad shape. No contractors, just me and wiring and plumbing and floor problems and no insulation and walls built incorrectly (I'm anal when it comes to code) and a fan... I'm at the mudding stage now, I've been finding excuses not to finish it for a while now because I hate it and I'm lousy at it. The whole reason for doing the basement bathroom is so we have a fully functioning bathroom to use so I can gut the main bathroom before the floor falls through by the tub, so there is sort of a time limit on the project.

 

Actually oldandconfussedagain......THAT is my husband's end of the shower. I don;t have fancy rack at my end...just a shelf

Sibeer...I hear ya. Our toilet previously was on a list and we half expected to find our son sat on it in the basement one morning....time was of the essence.

Randy is just putting th door handle on as we speak, as I painted the new door this morning. So we are done all bar hanging the nice picture I just bought this afternoon

 

this just can't be right. I'm wrong? again? tell me you're fibbing. I can't let my wife find this out.

 

LOL......it's amazing the amount of people who know about my bathroom

The final final finishing touches were done this weekend.....room completed!!!


Now I'm going to start on our bedroom...anyone up for more remodelling pics?

Nice job on your, now world famous bathroom, Lev. I like the colours as well.

Puts my 30+ y.o. bathroom to shame. I did put all new taps and shower heads in a while back, and an exhaust fan thing. That was about the only bathroom makeover I've done in the past, nearly four years. I'm in a constant, slow make over of my joint. New second Living room, curtains and so on. It literally never ends. And by the time I'm finished, it will be time to start over again, lol!

Keeps me busy - and poor, eh.
