I wanted to know if there was a way to protect an entire CD worth of data with a single password. I have a large collection of Word documents I want to archive, and I don't want anyone to be able to read them if I lost the CD, or if I died. I'm hoping I don't have to re-save every single Word document with a password individually.

not that i know of, but use a password protected zip of all them and just put the zip on the cd might work.

The Zip idea is one solution - the other is to put them all in a folder and use a program such as Mp-Crypt to encrypt the whole folder and then burn them onto the CD. Think that I bought the program for about 5 bucks a few years ago but it works very well indeed.
