I am haveing problems with 3 different programs. Adobe was acting up and asking for a path name to be entered. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall, and was unable to complete. See the error message that I now receive.

Also, on Word and Excel, I am receiving an error message(see attached file).

My PC seemed to be running fine up until a few days back. I did not install or remove any programs since it was running at full speed.

    Any help???

I can not get the file sizes small enough to attach. Here are the errror messages:

Excel/Word: Microsoft Visual Basic; Compile error in hidden module:AutoExecNew

Adobe: Windows Installer; The features you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable

Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate pathto a folder containingthe installation package 'Ac60PrP1.msp' in the box below.

I am then given the opportunity to browse or enter a command in the field available.

I saw this when you first posted and thought you had already gotten a response. Sorry. :)

See if one of the "Methods" in the link below might help. Then we can go from there.

No luck. I can not install an update, because it says the program does not exist to update. My main concern is being able to get rid of all of the Adobe remnants on my computer so that I can reinstall Pro 6.0. I am unable to uninstall via the control panel or with CCleaner.

I moved the files, as specified in the link that you gave me, to My Documents. That had little effect.

    Any other ideas???

    All is repaired!!!

    Thanks.

Now, my next issue is that Adobe did not install the PDF printer for me. How do I locate that so that I am able to convert my files into PDF's again?

Are you getting an error or is it not showing up in the options?
