Great sounds. Now if that was played by the same person on an acoustic guitar it wouldn't be so great tho (kinda like a movie without all the fake sound effects). Funny what an amp with a lot of effects can do. Still wish I could play that way.

    LOL
Oh yeah it's all good, I just know the oldies better and know who to look for. In fact it's probably too old for you. I was going to put some, Guns & Roses (Slash) is great, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix all great guitarist, all from the 80's or earlier. Most of the Brits. learned thier music from what was classified as black music and banned in the US in some areas. I grew up in San Francisco and when i was with my mom we woke to music and went to sleep the same way. In theaters between movies at times would have performers (whole bands) on stage. All kinds of ethnic music. In the 60's the during British Invasion all that wonderful music from the black people came back and there was no stopping it then.
    What was your question? LOL

Rikky Wile E. Coyote - One of a kind

I'm not sure what my question was really:DGood is just good period,my taste in music hasnt changed as I'v got older but the way it effects me has for example I couldnt listen to music I liked through my teens and early twenties without lifting weights or some kind exercise ect just too much energy I had to get rid of,I'm at a point now I can just resist not lifting weights and sit back and enjoy the music, good or bad whichever way ya look at it,I can chill out more but get a bit fatter:D

Guns and Roses are my favourite band ever one of the other great inspirations in my life other than Michael Jordan, first LP I ever bought when I was about 12 was appetite for destruction, first single I bought was wind of change by the scorpions about two years earlier

Anyhoo back to the guitar theme,I thought this was pretty funny,it does rely alot on whether you recognise the songs he plays though, the tune is pachelbels canon which is in my first post

    :)

OMG, Scorpions Wind of Change, love em, gave me goose bumps then----

Pachelbel Rant /Rob Paravonian was hysterical LOL for sure.

I caught part of VH1 100 best of the 80's yesterday, guess what # 1 was?
Jon Bon Jovi / Livin' on a Prayer, it was ok but #1?

I like all kinds of music. Once in a while I claim not to like country, then I hear Travis Tritt do Georgia on my mind with Ray Charles, or Willie /Night life or Janis Joplin do Chris Christopherson's Bobby MeGee, so here and there it's all good.
Guns and Roses, one of my daughters felt she had to share the experience with the neighborhood.
Oh and strippers prefer to dance to Def Leppard. bit of trivia there lol.

OMG I dont like country music either, like patsy cline and Dolly parton alot though:)

He is a little different than most blues players. I always liked him because he sounded raw and not rehearsed:)

Nice thread! My friend keeps telling me that there is an acoustical version of Jimi Hendrix's version of 'Star Spangled Banner'. I'm a big fan of his and I've never heard of it. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.

The description on that vid makes me laugh :D He used his full name to descibe himself playing on his own video and in the description he refers to himself in the 3rd person 'Michael Erni - guitar - plays his own variations on a theme by Paganini ' :D
