Real-Time chat on MG?

Every so often over the past few weeks I've been unable to get MG to respond on either IE or FF (When both browsers work just fine on all my other sites.)
3 or 4 times when MG came back on line, I seemed to have walked into a real-time MG chat room. People even talking about MG being off-line. But when I try to find it on purpose, I can't.
Is this supposed to be there, or does some kind of a glitch bring up someone's personal IM?
If it's really there. what's it listed under?
Puzzled.

 

Not sure if you are talking about the shout box ?

If you are logged in and on the main forum page

you will see the shout box just below the 'todays birthdays' section

if you cannot see it, click the arrow to the right of the title :
Off Topic Chat & Shout Outs (No computers or technical stuff, use the forums for that)

 

MGs has a shoutbox?



It could be that sometimes the shoutbox is minimized to just the title "Off Topic and Shout Outs" and you would need to use the expand arrow to the right hand side of this to maximize the shoutbox and actually see the "chat".

 

Thanks. Never noticed the little arrows, and probably went looking for it not logged-in. Sure am glad THAT'S solved.
