I got my new Crucial Ballistix RAM in today. Had a little trouble with the RAM at first, but a couple of BIOS trips later, and I can overclock my main rig higher than I could before. So I have to do some DFI nF4 Ultra-D motherboard overclocking research.

I also got my DB9 to RJ45 CISCO rollover cable in today! My old 2501 router is alive!

Yeah, I should get out more...

Have a good weekend my fellow Geeks.

Last time I tried that I thought I fried my MoBo, thanks to some advice form the Hardware forum, I think I may be able to reclaim my system.

Same as the mainboard on the box I'm using, a.t.m. I can tell you, they do overclock pretty well. 25% O/C, and rock solid. :cool

25%? That's no fun! I got mine to boot at 2.78GHz (39% oc) but was not stable. Yet... :cool

At 2.5 it is nice and stable. Temps look good also. I am just greedy and want a little more.

Well, running 2GHz @2.5 is good enough for me on this box. Yeah, I've had it boot up to 2.8 max., too - but it won't be stable, without spending a large wedge of cash on some high end RAM.

If it's speed I want, I just use the dual core machine. ;)

i got that same RAM, best stuff ive every used BY FAR. i read an article on it on techgage.com which they got the pc3200 kit up to ddr561 (280mhz) with 2.5-4-4-10 timings at 3.2v. Its amazing stuff, mine is running at pc4100 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.85v w/ CPU @ 3.6 (p4 3.0ghz)
