Down to three names for my kid-2be

All of the names are good ones, though.

 

I voted. After some thought, I went for Connor. It will still sound cool for him when he's at school, and it's still very Irish. Though I did like the other two. 'Course you can always give him all three, or 'Beta' as his middle name, LoL!

I like finn and conor, conor is a normalish name. Finn is a bit of an odder name, but still cool. Hehe, i named my kid via poll on majorgeeks, wonder if thats a first? Anyhow, picking a name is tough so wish you luck. All three names are great Irish names imho.

 

I haven't voted, but my vote is for family names. You know, the uncles, dads or grand dads you think are or were cool. Gives you something to talk about when the kid is older.

 

I voted for Cian. I think that's a pretty cool name, and that's coming from an Englishman.

On a different note: What do you call an Irishman who stays out all night?

Cian Beta ...., Conor Beta ..., Finn Beta ... the possibilites. I like Conor too.

Or you could go with CPv2.0 that has a nice ring to it.

 

A guy I know refers to his wife as v1.5, his son as v2.0, and daughter as v2.0sp1

I was gonna vote for Conor, but that is too common and the more I said it, Cian has a nice ring to it and not completely out there, so I went with Cian!!

Voted for Finn. Actually, there is a good bit of History behind that name. Finn McCool (sp I know) was a great Irish warrior back in the day who lead the resistance against the original british invasion.
