Urgent: Dvd-r Mishaps!

Hey guys, I just burned a few data DVDs, using Nero, and Memorex DVD-Rs... I have a Samsung DVD burner x16 i think and it said that it was burned sucessfully.... but when I try to see my files on the computer, there is nothing there!!!!! Guys, what is going on :*( .... it even shows on the disc that it burned something on there i can see the rings...! Help >_<

 

Sry Etai, I don't use Nero...but I'm just guessing it might be the format u used. Can u redo them? A lot of people use Nero...just be patient someone will answer.

No, because I was planning on reformatting, so I was just deleting the files as I went along so I don't get mixed up... this problem happened before, but I forgot how to fix it. I know the data burned on the disc, because I can see the darker markings, as when a DVD is burned, or even a CD. So, I don't know what's up..sigh

 

Nero has a log, can u do a screen shot and attach the log? Might help figure it out.

So you can try to get back the files you deleted from your computer
and re-burn them if necessary

Re: I can´t mount or see the disc I formatted in the Explorer.

Nero Answer:
Please check the following points:

Check that InCD is installed.

Check that Nero isn't running with this media selected.

Install the InCD 4 Reader for InCD 3.xx and 4.xx.

Did you use Nero Back it Up program to burn the files?

If so, put the disk in and start the Nero Back it Up program and you should be able to see the files.

 

I'll try that! I just reinstalled my new PC and everything. So, after I install Nero, I will definitely give you the end result



EDIT: Oh, I didn't use the Back it Up programme; I started a new project (Data DVD).
