Greatest.Movie.Ever.

There seems to be some argument about this.

I like alot of movies, most of which are far to horrible to be put in this category in the general use of the term.

I will stick with my original choice and say Full Metal Jacket is the greatest movie ever.

I have been known to change my mind.

My vote goes for " The Grapes of Wrath" as being the best movie ever.It showes what the people had to go through to survive the hardships of being born poor.

I have to go with Blazing Saddles.

 

"Once Upon a Time in America" is the greatest movie ever, especially the scene with the young lad with the cream cake on the steps.

Damn. I forgot about Goodfellas. Best Mob Movie ever. Along that line Boondock Saints is right up there.

 

The Birds, because I saw it when I was 11 or 12, and it's still stuck in my head. I have to wonder why they don't remake it with today's effects.

Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grrrrrrail.

 

Remake of Psycho in 2000 or 2001. No need for it really as the new one just sort of modernized it a bit.

I forgot to mention Reservoir Dogs. Close second for me.

 

Both are in the top 10. Don't think it is possible to name a single one, because it depends on mood and circumstances!
