HD diag in WinXP?

Is there a HD diag that can be run from WinXP? I've got all the bootable diags from the various HD makers, but I need one to test external USB hard drives? Any links or suggestions will be appreciated!

Anybody? A hard drive daignostic for external USB drives that I can run from within WinXP is what I need. And it must be free

Some, like Western Digital and Seagate (I think), have ones that you can install and run from within Windows.

If they are not listed here on MG.com, then the manufacturer's website will have them.

Who makes the drive inside the USB enclosure?

PS: Not listed in MG.

It is a "full featured, failure prediction agent". I haven't tried it.

Thanx for the info! Brand of drive isn't really important 'cuz I need an all-purpose diag for all brands. I don't want to have to use a different app for each different drive... from what I've seen, at least one of those listed above will fill the bill. Thanx Again!
