Pioneer DVR-111D trouble

I hope I'm in the right place.
Just installed the DVR-111D. It will read great. But will not write. Using XP-2.
Program Nero. I'm taking VHS tapes through ADS DVD Xpress (working great) after editing in Nero it will not burn. Checked File Mgr. no problem. Thanks for any help.

 

Have you tried to burn other stuff? Like data, music, photos, whatever.... If this other stuff will burn, then I would think it's a problem with the file format and/or content... What error message(s) do you get when trying to burn?

Will not burn any format. I look at the disk and it shows full, no free space. it goes through the motions of burning but the disk is blank afterwards.

 

Open My Computer, right-click the CD Drive icon, and then click Properties > Recording tab > see if the Enable CD recording on this drive is checked.

Uncheck the box and try again. It could be interfering with Nero.

Hi Matacumbie, tried your suggestion,unchecking the box, still can't record. It tells me to insert a clean disk. Clean disk, computer states it full.

I am curious about this device, does it shrink the video tape file to fit on the dvd or do you need to do this separately?

 

I don't know if it shrink the video, but you can put as much video on the disk as it will hold. Just like a movie. All I have to do now is to find out why I can't put it on the disk. I think it is in the format.
