Building comp slowly (need help)

My question is if this mother board fits in this case perfectly ?

Yes it will fit. If you look at the specs page on the case it say that it takes Micro ATX, Standard ATX & Extended ATX motherboards. The board you picked out is a standard ATX

 

how can you tell it's a standard atx

 

Standard ATX dimensions are 12" x 9.6"! That and the fact under "Specifications" Newegg should list both the board and case as ATX. ATX usually means it will meet the above measurements with the correct PSU (Power Supply Unit). The board will also come with a plate that fits the various I/O slots on the rear of the motherboard which in turn will fit perfectly into the case.

For the case under specifications Newegg lists "Standard ATX" under Motherboard Compatibility. The motherboards form factor is listed as ATX (standard 12x9.6). Thats one easy way to tell..

yes it is, any core 2 duo processor will be a good investment and perform very well

also, you dont need an ethernet card

if you're gonna be gaming, maybe pick up a sound card as well

 

already have a sound card, looking for a cd/dvd burner.
