Thinking about getting a Wii tonight after dinner

Looks like tons of fun and it would be nice to have a more family oriented game system in the house besides my Xbox. I never get the play the Xbox anyway, my sons took it over with the dreaded Lego Star Wars games LOL.

Anyone know if there are any stocking problems with the Wii or should I be able to just walk into BestBuy and snag one?

I can just see it now all 5 of us and the dog fighting over who's gonna bowl next.

 

My brother got one launch day, but I haven't been able to find one since and I check about every day. Good luck though! It's definitely worth it!

I don't think you'll be able to just walk in and get one. I've been looking for one since launch with no luck (well, one day on Amazon which sold out in about ten seconds), unlike three of my friends who preordered.

 

I know. I'm waiting for a new set of colors myself though. I'd like to have my own, but when ever I need a fix, I just go play with my brother. Works for now.

 

I read something about a second Wii coming out that's black and has a DVD player. Maybe that's why I'm not trying so hard to get one anymore...

 

LOL... I've had the Game Cube for quite a while now, and jsut recently got an X-Box from a co-worker who got the 360. My son and I have fun playing the racing games on x-box. I am waiting to get a good FPS for it... want to get Halo2, but don;t want to pay $50 for it.

There's supposed to be a revision some time that adds DVD support among other things that are pure speculation at this point. I'm just waiting for my Lime Green Wii. That thing will look so awesome next to my other blan, and black, electronic equipment.

Thanks for the tips on the 6700. I am going to call Verizon soon and see what kind of deal I can get on one. Got to play with one Saturday night at the store, pretty neat phone, has a ton of features too.

 

Game stop seems to be getting them reliably, gave up on the other places.

 

I'm waiting to get a Red one. I'm tired of White electronics.

 

I got mine last week at Game Stop - they claimed to be getting nearly half a dozen per day. I supposedly got the last one that day... I wonder if that was the case or just hyping the console. They tell you if you call they will not hold it or sell it to you if you have one already.
Game Crazy said they haven't got any in over a month - they blame Nintendo's end of the fiscal period and think they are holding them to kick off the next period, who knows?

I was so so on buying one, my girlfried is a BIG Nintendo fan and got her's launch day... now I have played Blazing Angels & Golf I love the interface - especially Angles flying.. it's so right on!

If you got the browser working.. help me out! I have it connected to the net - it tests ok & downloads updates, but when I go to Internet and user agreement, it goes to Wii connect, then tells me I have to agree to the User Agreement. That is where I started.. where is the user agreement?
Like I said I go to Wii Settings>Internet>User agreement....

 

I bought the x-box when it came out but I havent had the urge to buy any other game system, but te DSlite and im still thinking on that one. I must admit im not a big gammer though
