Recently, I purchased Kaspersky anti-Virus 6.0. After installing it I tried to go online and register the product. When Peoplepc connected my whole computer shut down. Now it will not connect with either Kaspersky or Mcafee or Kaspersky. HELP!

    Hi

You should not have two antivirus applications installed and running live on your PC ( while yes you can run two AVs both should not be running resident and having this senario is more for advanced users ), they will conflict with each other and give various issues ranging from a none booting PC into the windows GUI ( worked on one today that had two AVs installed like this ) to not allowing you onto the internet.

If you have purchased Kasperski then uninstall McAfee and try again to connect with internet.

Not what you mentioned in your first post?

Do you have a Firewall? if so what?

A security application and most likely a firewall will be blocking you from connecting to the internet.
