movie editing software

    hi

    i was wondering if anyone can point me to some good free movie editing software?

    alot of the things i need dont seem to be working on the windows movie maker

    ime looking for something to join the clips together cut parts out of each clip trim the begining ends ect

    ime on windows xpsp1 so cant upgrade to movie maker 2
