problem watching flash

hi i cant seem to watch flash on www.jaylenosgarage.com but can watch at other sites. have tried reseting ie settings but doesnt seem to help. I was able to watch at work but not at home. any ideas or can anyone send me advanced settings to make it work. when i check adobe website it says it is installed but still dont work.I tried uninstalling and reinstall that didnt help thats why i think it is a setting somewhere. anyone have this issue before? Also i have been able to watch video there before.

try uninstalling it using this link http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157 then install it again and see if that works.

 

yeah i tried that and i just did it again with no help. i think it is somehow blocking video or something because i can watch video at alot of other sites. where you able to view it? can anyone copy settings from ie advanced tab and security tab. thanks Brad

 

try viewing it through a different browser like firefox http://www.firefox2.com/ i can usually view anything with it no problems..

 

i tried fire fox also nothing either. I can log on to my kids desktop and view the videos just not on mine or my wifes for some odd reason.. it even reloaded adobe plugin when i tried firefox i will close firefox and reopen and try again. no luck though maybe my norton was blocking but even when it is disabled still not working it is driving me crazy since it does work on my kids desktop?

still no luck when i go to nbc cant watch either it says embed error: [object error] i have even tried re-installing java but no luck. before i reset my security to default it was blocking some cookies from the site. Here is the wierd thing when i check adobe settings on my kids desktop it says video.nbc.com but on my desktop it says www.jaylenosgarage.com have tied to allow both sites in the flash settings but didnt help. it is a wierd mystery some how it has to be blocking nbc video.

I have both actually i tried installing from the link you seent but still no luck. something has to be stopping me from watching video from nbc.com just not sure where it is? i ran spybot no spyware ran ccleaner norton system works but nothing seems to help. does anyone understand how i can watch it on my kids desktop but not mine? is there any way i can totally uninstall ie and re-install with xp home sp2? the weird thing is firfox doesnt work either could it be security are maybe something wierd in registry? maybe i will uninstall all java and re-install. someone has to have a solution.

still havent figured it out but found away to watch them on tonight show website because it loads the player in another window. does anyone know if i can totally uninstall explorer or go back to older version? I think this all happened after i update spyware doctor. I had to tottally uninstall it to get my dsl connection working.

hey widwolf220 do you know what may cause ie to block nbc video? i even thought maybe some how blocking it some where. Do you think it could be something in my registry?

try this make sure you have the needed plugins http://www.unhsolutions.net/Flash-Saving-Plugin/flash.html you said earlier that you can view the vids on your kids desktop. check the the multimeda setting in interner options advanced tab on both setups to see if the same boxes are ticked..

 

i cant seem to find where the link is to download that flash saving plugin. I did try to check all the same boxes in advanced tab from kids desktop with no luck.

 

hey got it working some how. I reset all advanced settings after removing ie 7 and reinstalling. I thought it still was not working but a few days later went on jaylenos site and it is working yeah thaks for all the help
