I'm really hoping someone here can help me with this. For a long while, you could download videos from TMZ.com, and other affiliated sites from AOL.com, etc., using NetXfer, and if need be, URL Snooper along with it, and it was really simple to do. However, in the past little while, the whole network that runs from all of those sites has changed where their feeds come from, and apparently added some sort of security protocols, as now the videos cannot be downloaded using NetXfer anymore. Even URL Snooper seems to not be able to locate the correct, direct URL from which the videos are streaming from.
I have gotten quite a few suggestions from other people, have downloaded quite a few programs, and done a lot of looking around, looking and hoping for the answer to this problem, but so far, nothing. I have tried things like Metaproducts' Mass Downloader and Download Accelerator Plus, and countless other types of stream downloading software that I can't even remember the names of, but I have gotten no positive results. If anyone can help me with this, you have my sincere gratitude.

Everyone needs to disregard the last post I made here. I figured out a way to record videos without having to download them! The answer is Easy Video Capture. If you have that, and a decent peripheral microphone pointed at your speakers, then you can record any sort of music and video from any screen you have up on your monitor. The overall output of the program is actually pretty damn good. Some letters, if you have words on the screen you captured, may look a little bolder than they originally were, though, and there is a little watermark that reads, "Saved By Demo Version Of Video Capture," if you don't buy it. The watermark doesn't really mess things up, though, and otherwise, it works great.
You can download the setup program from several sites, including Download.com, and it's easy to set up and use. I just discovered this program today, by accident, while looking for an answer for the above post. I guess I found my answer. I'm sorry if any of you ended up looking in vain for a solution to this problem, and if you did, I do appreciate the effort.

Try CamStudio. It will do the same, record the audio directly (no microphone), and is completely free (no watermark, etc).

I just tried it, and I uninstalled it. Why? Well, both the video and audio quality were worse than with Easy Capture, the video being very choppy and the audio, using both the mic and the speakers, was filled with so much static, that you couldn't understand any speech whatsoever. I tried it with all of the settings that were available, and nothing seemed to fix any of the problems that were being caused. I guess it's freeware for a good reason.
I appreciate you're trying to help, but I'm sticking with what I found originally. It works just fine. And like I explained in my last post, the watermark is actually almost a non-issue, since it's not really that bold, nor does it take up much space.
