Saw that on the news tonight...I particularly liked it when he paused realising his error, looked at the Queen and her expression remained unchanged when she looked back at him.LOL At least he made a gallant attempt in correcting himself when he said, ""She gave me a look that only a mother could give a child."

 

I cannot understand how this man became such a powerful leader in the world i can only look from over here and do not fully understand the American electoral system but it does seem that if you have enough money you could get a monkey nominated for president.

That's part of the problem, nobody voted for him, unless you count the Supreme Court.

I cast my mock ballot against him.

I was against the war to begin with.

Now that we've trashed the country, installed Alcida, and started a civil war, we need to try to set up some kind of government. Historically this administration tried to do it on the cheap (minimum staff and soldiers), this is the first time he has put enough people in to do the job. It's probably too late, but in good concience we need to try to do it right at least once.

Guess I march counterstep to everyone else.

The thing that really pisses me off is we're likely to loose the war in Afganistan, which was as righteous a war as they can be. They are being grouped together, they shouldn't be.

I highly dislike him, 'nuff said. Interested in seeing how his successor will handle this mess, though.

It is easy to hate the big oil companies, but the return on the investment vs the return is not that much. Sure, there are some high paid people in there, but in my opinion, it is market driven. Think of how much per gallon is taxes... and in England, I think it is around 8 to 10 bucks a gallon for gas.

About fuel prices:-

The garage near mine (NW England) is 94p ($1.87) a litre.
Thats about £4.55($9.05) to the imperial gallon + going up FAST!
