    Hi Happy Helper Hitmen!

My computer is getting irregular repairs to an online game, sudden crashes to messenger and terribly-bad-operating-system messages that all need to be sent as reports to microsoft although my os has not shown signs of distress.
The main thing both my son and I have been experiencing of late besides these "reports to Microsoft" popups, are sudden disconnects from the internet which can be corrected by walking over to the router, unplugging it and plugging it back in. These symptoms started with my son several weeks ago and with me during the past week. Our computers are connected via router but not networked. ... (?)

In following the READ ME directions, I was only not able to run Panda, because there is a webpage error which prevented it being loaded, although I deleted the old jre and installed the new one. I ran all the other scans.

    Counterspy found nothing.
BitDefender found 2 evilware in Thunderbird, but I couldn't tell if it successfully deleted them
ShowNew looks like it has one thing near the bottom
    HJT and Getrun ??

Thanks for looking at the scans for me.

Also, spybot didn't find anything, but for some reason listed Microsoft Office 9. I don't know why. In any case, it congratulated me on finding nothing.

no panda, no counterspy as explained in the first post

    thanks
    :)

    Welcome Major Geeks!

    Not a malware problem.

More than like not malware related.

Unless you give us the exact message and tell us exactly what you were doing when it occurred, this kind of statement is of no use to us. In addition, most problems like this are also not due to malware.

Not malware. If you need to reset your router, you have physical problems in your network or problems with your ISP or problems that your router is not compatible with your ISP's DSL or Cable modem (I don't know what kind of connection you have since you did not say).

No that is just part of a registry key for a program you have installed.

Based on your logs, you do not have any malware problems. I suggest that you uninstall the CounterSpy trial no since we are finished with it. Also I suggest you pursue your other problems, but posting in the Software Forum but give more exact details and word for word error messages. The problem with having to reset your router should be pursued with either your ISP or you could post in either the Hardware or Networking Forum.
