    Hi all,

This is about the send2anna entry in the registry. Don't know if this is the best place for this, so please move it from Malware if you think that best. The reason I thought this might be the best place is because people's first reaction when finding this in their registry is to suspect it as something malicious.

I just want to get a good record of this somewhere on the internet so that people searching can find the answer. I have found an answer after much searching but the site I found seems to drop pages after a period of time and the answer goes missing again. While I was looking around again tonight, I noticed on some forums (which all seem to be exactly the same thread) that I wasn't the only one looking for that information as I was not the only guest or member looking at the thread so I assume there are quite a few worried people out there and Google and other search engines will pick up this entry eventually.

Basically, all send2anna entries in the registry are nothing to worry about. They are installed by the Palm software (and possibly other PDA software) and are relevant to transfer of data between the supporting computer and the handheld.

So they aren't indications of malware and should be left alone.

    Bye all! :)

P.S. Edit out the extra stuff if you want!

Yes, that's the site I had a link to. What puzzles me though, is the link to a page on that site which I had, now leads to a page with no help and I was wondering if the 2nd page which Google points to would disappear sometime too. That's why I thought it worth documenting somewhere stable.

The links in Google on it are confusing. Today there are links to a Yahoo questions and answers that wasn't there the last time I looked and neither of the links I find in Google for Macafee are the one you have.

Never mind, Major Geeks ain't goin' anywhere! Anywhere other than forwards, that is! :)
